How Do I Delete all my iTunes entries

Hi All

I recently joined Spotify and when using my iMac it kindly imported all my itunes library into my spotify without asking. Now I have hundreds of old music that I do not want. I have tried to start to go through them and deleting but it takes an age doing it one by one.

Is there a quick wait to delete all my itunes entries or even my whole play list so I can start again - being a newbie I don't mind loosing everything.

I have going into preferences and untickets the itunes option, but this didn't help.

Any advice or help greatly appreciated

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

If you have unticked iTunes in the Spotify > Preferences menu then just navigate to the "Local Files" section on the left of the client, press Cmd+a to highlight all, then right click (or whatever it is on a Mac :P) and select "Unlink Track" which will remove those local files from your Spotify.

I had the same problem, I logged onto spotify on my sisters computer, now all 3000 of her songs are on my playlist and half of them synced to my ipod!!  i cant get back to the option to "delete all" (music on ipod) to start over again!!!  what do i do??

What kind of iPod are you using?

Some of my iTunes are in my Spotify profile. Weirdly not all of it but just my personal demos etc that are unfinished and not for other people to hear!

How can I remove these?

I've gone to preferences & local files & unchecked everything but they are all still there. I really can't have other people hearing my dodgy doodles & demos!

Please help!
