Importing a Playlist from iTunes

My Question or Issue

I recently re-downloaded the Spotify deskop app for Mac. There used to be an option to import iTunes playlists to Spotify, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it now. My iTunes settings allow sharing of XML files, and I have Local Files enabled in Spotify. 

Many things I see online saw that there should be an "Import Playlist" option in the drop-down menu under "File," but it isn't appearing for me?

Is there a way to do this without using a questionable third-party site or application?

I cannot import my playlists from iTunes. I want to switch to Spotify but this is a deal breaker. I don't want to start all over and build playlists from scratch. How do I import my iTunes playlists into Spotify?
