Is Spotify forgetting songs added to My Music?

Is Spotify forgetting songs added to My Music?

I can't 100% confirm that this is happening, but it seems to me like Spotify occassionaly forgets songs that I've added to my music. Anyone else experiencing this? Maybe it's a problem with syncing my activities across my personal Mac, work Mac, iPhone, and iPad?

For example, I was just listening to this song: spotify:track:55rjnUeIps039RYieWCHDH. I'm pretty darn sure that I added it to My Music by clicking the "+" a while ago. But now I see it's not checked. I can confirm that song was already added to four differerent playlists of mine (Spotify told me so) - knowing my style, if I added a song to that many playlists, I'd definitely have added it to My Music as well. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Could a Spotify rep look at my db and confirm if this is happening?

Is the option "Sync over celular" turned on? Maybe what it's happeing is due to network disruptions, when you save a song during that time some songs are not properly synced to the other devices. That could be a reason.

You might have reached the 10k tracks limit in Your Music / Songs, do a search for this term, there are plenty of threads and ideas about it.

Thanks guys. @DriveFlanger, I'll try it. Sync over cellular was turned off on my phone. I guess time will tell if I experience the maybe-bug again.

@hans-jürgen. I have 1,960 songs in My Music, so I've got some headroom. As others have said all over this site, it's a shame that there's a limit at all, but perhaps that a technical or contractual limitation. I'd love to be a PM at Spotify so I could understand what's driving the product features.
