Mac Desktop app can no longer click search results

My Question or Issue

Prior to an app update some time in the last week or two when you searched for a song in the desktop app you could click it to go to that song. Now clicking it doesn't do anything. Double clicking still plays it. To go to the song, you have to right click and click "Go to Album"
This should be reverted, since now a single click doesn't do anything at all, so it's not like the behavior has been replaced with something else.

That's an odd behavior. To start investigating this, would you mind confirming if you've performed a clean reinstall process by following the steps mentioned in this article? If not, give it a try as this is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

If the issue persists, could you check on the Web Player to see if it has the same behavior?

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
