No songs play on spotify. At all.

Recently, I discovered that some songs would not play on Spotify at all and instead give an image that looks like this 

instead of the album cover.

Even copies of the same song would not play, as an example;

Any song in Eminem's Slim Shady LP would not play.

However, all songs in Eminem's Slim Shady LP Expanded Edition would play.

After a bit of searching on this site, I found a solution which said to do a clean reinstallation.  After doing this, NO songs play, at all. My playlist appears as empty except for one Local File. I need this to be fixed because I basically have NO Spotify on my mac now.
