Play queue broken on osx application

Play queue broken on osx application

The play queue on the mac app is frustratingly broken. Songs added to the queue do not actually get added, reordering does not work, everything, the whole the is largely unresponsive, navigating to the history tab almost brings the whole app to a stand still

Brand new macbook pro. Spotify 1.0.6.80. Yosemite 10.10.3

I'm on a MacBook Air and my Spotify works just fine. Edit: I went to my history, and had the same thing with the "History" lag happen to me. So really, I'm attempting to fix this for both of us now. But the adding to play queue works just fine for me.

 

As with most troubleshooting situations:

1) Have you restarted your laptop?

 

2) Have you tried reinstalling the app?

 

If you have tried those and they didn't work, please reply.

 

If you haven't tried those, please try them and reply.

 

I just tested the above. They don't work. Someone higher in the ranks should probably report this in the Ongoing Issues section.
