Playlist icons on the sidebar disappeared

I updated the spotify desktop app and it seemed to revert to the old version? I want to be able to have the feature of the version where my playlists would display their icons on the sidebar again. Any help?

This seems to be one of the changes we recently made. At Spotify, we're always testing new improvements and features to give our users a better experience. So you may see something your friend can't see, or you may have access to a completely new feature for a while.

Your feedback is very important to us, because it helps us make future decisions. We know you want to make the best out of your listening experience.

The new features from that previous update with the playlist icons on the sidebar as I mentioned, and new UI was really nice and I enjoyed it a lot, the design is clean and easy to organise and arrange. Would there be any way to be able to have these features again? Since I'm really missing it and the old UI is incomparable and just not the same to the new version.

Good news!

Spotify is introducing a new Your Library sidebar in the desktop app and Web Player.

The new Your Library sidebar is rolling out to all desktop users now, so you will be seeing it soon if you haven't already. You were most likely part of the testing stage. You should be seeing it again within a few weeks hopefully.
