Playlist isn’t syncing on Spotify

I’m trying to get my own music on Spotify. I went though local files process on computer. Music is on local files on computer want to it be on iPhone. Transferred music onto new playlist and downloaded. It’s on my iPhone and when I downloaded it it’s staying grey and saying song not downloaded, sync song to iPhone. I have tried to do it but I can’t. Please help
