Playlists show loading symbol for like 20+ minutes

I've had issues with the Mac & Windows desktop versions of Spotify for over a year.

Right now on my Mac I've been waiting over 20 minutes for a playlist to load. It just shows the loading symbol.

In the past I've done the whole clearing the cache thing and it did nothing. Then the problem got worse and I tried to do it again but the cache was empty.

I posted about this in another thread months ago but nothing happened. Only had the same 'clear the cache' ideas which haven't worked.

Any idea how I can fix this?
