Popular songs with no play count on mac destop app

Hello,

The past few weeks the play counts for many popular artists have appeared at <1000 on my desktop app on my mac and on my friends mac as well. I think this may be a widespread issue that is not recieveing enough attention - that or for some reason it is only affecting a specific demographic of Spotify users - perhaps mac users, or it acts up intermittently. (Is anyone else having this problem on a pc desktop?) Logging out or completely uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix the issue. We'd really appreciate this bug getting fixed! Thanks!

Can you let us know if restarting Spotify helps at all?

Also, we'd like to know the device, operating system and Spotify version you're running.
