Release Radar is gone off track and is including music I don't like.

Release Radar is showing me artists I don't follow. 

This is why I liked things before when you could just get updates on specific artists. Then Spotify changed that all, and now the new method is broken.

I agree, it can be a bit annoying, but it's to help discover new music similar to the artists you enjoy.

However, you can create an idea about this in the Ideas Exchange here and get others to vote for it. If it garners enough votes, then Spotify might consider implementing it!
