Share playlist

I'm trying to share a playlist with a friend that I want to have a collaborative playlist with. I'm following her and she is following me, she pops up in the 'Friends List' on right side of the desktop client but there's no way her account appears in the Friends List when I go to the share playlist function (some of my friends do though). Besides when I copy the Spotify URI of her profile (spotify:user:xyz) it also doesn't work. It drives me crazy and I don't understand why this is such a difficult thing... 
p.s. my Spotify account is not connected to FB and I'd like to keep it like that

OK, the problem is solved. It seems to be some kind of bug or delay > 24hrs before it works. Without having changed anything, suddenly the account pops up in the search field.
