So Long, And Thanks for All the Fish

So Long, And Thanks for All the Fish

After the recent desktop and iOS apps releases, I've decided to try alternative streaming services. I have been a premium user for several years but, IMO, last "upgrades", specially the awful desktop app, are actually downgrades. It's enough! I have the perception that Spotify considers us just as merely "users" not as a customers (what we really are in many cases).

But, being positive, this Spotify action has led me to discover Google Play Music, the service that really fits with my way of consuming music. I buy a lot of live gigs from the artists' sites that are unavailable on streaming catalogues. With Spotify is possible to listen them as local files, but without gapless. With Google Play Music I can upload my local music collection, specially these live albums, having them always available via streaming, and I can listen them gapless!

Bye Spit-ify!
