Songs imported from drive, won't override the album.

Songs imported from drive, won't override the album.

"This song is not available. if you have the file on your computer you can import it".

I want to listed to a particular album that I own (digital version). Spotify won't let me stream this album. Probably because of licensing issues, or localisation or whatever.

Anyway, I imported this album from local files and I can listen to it no problem in "Local Files" section of my library, but I cannot substitute it for the original album.

Meaning - when I go to "library -> albums" and type in the name, I can find it but I cannot play it - it will give me the "This song is not available. if you have the file on your computer you can import it" error. Which is ridiculous, since I've just imported the darn thing. In addition, in "local files" spotify recognizes the album and gives it correct artists and a cover photo...

Any ideas?

bump. no one has an answer?

Spotify doesn't seem to give a **bleep** about customers who can't use their premium accounts

what's that supposed to mean?
