Spotify desktop and devices were connecting w wifi, and now they are grey

Spotify desktop and devices were connecting w wifi, and now they are grey

With all my devices I was ale to connect all my devices thru wifi, but now they appear grey and say they can't play this song. I tried all suggestions I could find; nothing works.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. 

 

This type of issue is commonly related to an outdated version of the app or some cache stored on your devices that may affect its proper behavior. In this case, to cover both scenarios, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article.


If the issue persists, and in case you have a dual-band router, make sure that all devices are connected to the same band as well (2.4/5.0 GHz).

 

Lastly, we’d recommend checking if using the Web player instead of the desktop app makes any difference. This will give us a better look at the issue to continue investigating it.
