Spotify keeps stoping after playing a song

This is an issue I've had on multiple devices when casting to the Chromecast in my Vizio. I got premium specifically for being able to cast it to my TV and speakers. It happens on my iPhone and Mac and the Web player when using google chrome. It's regardless of stream quality, regardless of playlist or if I'm playing from an artist's page. I've tried closing out the applications, restarting the application, restarting the devices, changing loop, changing fade into next song. I've cleared all my devices I'm able to play on. I'm not sure why it freezes up after each song. If I toggle the play button to pause and then play again when it freezes up on a song it just restarts the same song that just played. This is really disappointing that I paid money for a streaming service on multiple devices, and that's the one thing it can't handle. It's starting to get frustrating each time I have to stop doing something to play the next song.
