Spotify on OS X doesn't restore as a full screen app [BUG]

I tried to file this in the bug topic, but it wouldn't let me create a new post.

 

On the redesigned Spotify (black interface) OS X desktop app, it no longer restores as a full screen app. In the previous version(s) if it was a full screened app, you quit the app, then open it again, it would start as a full screened app. Now, if I quit the app as a full screened app and open the application again, it opens windowed.

 

Not the biggest issue in the would, but would be nice if that feature was restored. Thanks!

Now it's among the several cluttered applications that open windowed on startup. I just wish it would go fullscreened again, I use it all the time on my mac, but it's just annoyingly in the way by default now.

This is something the Spotify team are aware off and looking into.

they have just released a new version and the problems still there.. its been more than a month since its been released the new version with this issue on it.. they shoud fix it already..

Seriously... it's 3 months later, Version 0.9.12.10.g89b2a4fc in the meantime - and this behaviour is still not fixed?!

you don't add it. the spotify developers do. 

 

that's all it would take to fix this problem. 

It's been soooo long and the problem persists.. What bothers me more is that you dont have a formal channel to complain to Spotify, even being a premium user.. You dont have an email address to make a complain for the service. It's really annoying..

and fill out the contact form. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community boards reply back to that email, even if it is from a noreply and a customer support rep will get with you shortly.

This bug has been filed for alomst a year now. Any sort of official response would be nice....

Just looking this up. A year? Fix please!

Still not fixed. June 25 2016

Over three years later this still hasn't been addressed by Spotify. This is a really simple fix.
