Unable to latest version on mac

Description

Note i have never had an issue with spotify on any computer before this point.

Problem: Well i was using spotify a few days ago as i frequently do. It was working fine then (this was around 2 days ago). Now today when i tried to open Spotify it told me it was damaged and to redownload it, so i did just that, deleated old file and then downloaded new one. When attempting to open the Installer it tells me "Installation failed: An error occurred while trying to download Spotify." It gave me two (2) options to click on, one is "Quit" and the other is "Download from Spotify.com." If i click quit it stops the installer, if i hit the Download it takes me to the exact same download tab and adds another installer that gives me the same error.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. First I attempted to redownload the installer

2. Then I tried uninstalling all spotify files from my mac

3. Then I restarted my computer and tried again

4. Then i came here

What I expected to happen

Spotify downloads and installs

What actually happened

Didnot install spotify

Mac OS X 10.9.3
