Update change reasoning?

From a user perspective, what does Spotify have to gain by restricting the customizability of their software?

- Can't adjust column width anymore. Why not? What does Spotify gain by prohibiting this?

- No in-playlist search (although this might be coming back)

- *FIXED* (Thank you, Soundofus)

- Local music changes

An actual response by Spotify as to their reasoning behind these decisions would be nice, rather than just a boilerplate response. The community response on these forums seems rather negative, and it doesn't appear to have been officially addressed yet.

Let's see if Spotify actually listens to their users/feedback submissions. Lately, it seems the program has become user-unfriendly.

You can hide the Friend Feed by unchecking in the top left menu : View > Friend Feed
