Where is Classify?

I was incredibly upset, upon restarting Spotify to get the new update, to see that Classify does not exist anymore. I've seen that apps have been discontinued - but seriously!!! There is no rational reason to justify this! Classify was a unique thing on the web - as far as I know - with its amazing classification by genre, composer, instrument, mood, or playlists ("The Classical Encyclopedia", "The 99 Essentials") which made it the ultimate app for the classical music lover and honestly a lifesaver during essay/exam periods. It was more than random playlists, the way it was arranged made it genuinely easier to better understand the world of classical music. And even if there are similar things elsewhere online (which I doubt) it's still not reason enough to discontinue it, the very fact that it was seamlessly integrated within my "normal" music app made it so, so convenient. 

Please explain why it is gone, or better - make it come back.

It's all very nice and cute, but I don't see any replacement for that specific app I mentioned, Classify, on the link you posted.

I mean first T-Swizzle, then Classify... the Spotify experience keeps getting worse and worse.

I miss Classify too. At the moment I made a "downgrade" of Spotify installing an older version from here  but I don't know how much time it will be available.

Indeed, I also used classify almost daily. other apps as well, but classify, bluesify etc, were really really powerfull, and the reason I took a premium account in the first place. 😞

For now, you can get an old Spottify from here, but that will probably stop working soon (and the link will probabaly be removed again soon too). 

I was very upset to find classify removed from my spottify app. It took away 80% of the value of Spottify for me. Very annoying: no announcement, just *poof* gone. You update to the "latest and greatest", and instead of gaining stability you loose features.

I still miss Classify! It helped me exploring classical Music!
