macbook app issues

any options to remedy the crazy slow response of the opening and playback on macbooks? there is a serious delay issue in opening, re-starting after a delay etc of the app on macbook. Have deleted the app and reinstall and no remedy.

Was able to get on chat with spotify and they got it resolved, used appcleaner to unistall and remove app and assoicated files versus just deleting the app directly to trash, then rinstalled and works fine. Pleased with their reponse and remedy
