my laptop gives me premium features and i don't pay for it

I can type in any song and play it instantly on my laptop, but not on my iphone. It seems like my laptop has that premium feature but not my iphone. I do not pay for premium. This has been happening for a few months.

Spotify on desktop allows you to play any song you want although you do still have ads, but on mobile you can only shuffle and you also get ads, you also have limited skips on mobile.

I was also suprised when I downloaded the app to my computer. The desktop version of Spotify allows you to play any song instantly, while on the mobile applicatons you cannot do this. It is not the premium version, because it still shows image ads and audio ads between chosen songs.

but it's not a mistake or a bug. like Edd said above, that there are different settings on the laptop version and the iphone version. it is supporst to be like that. it a money trick. as most people use spotify on their phones they are more likely to pay and as less people use spotify on their computer, there are less reasons to annoy users into buying the premium version. they already also get money from adds so they make enough they the laptop version to not need to annoy people into buying
