My Question or Issue

I couldn't play newly added songs in "Liked Songs", and the message "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." kept appearing. Songs I added before could be played though. The problem started today. I tried a few things from what I read online but nothing worked, from reinstalling Spotify for Mac to updating the software.

Hey @tanhutthien2011,

Welcome to the Community!

To investigate further, could you let us know if the same thing happens in the web player? Have you also tried with a relative's or a friend's account on your device to see if that'll make any difference?

Does the issue only happen with the Liked Songs playlist or other playlists as well? Have you enabled the Shuffle-function?

We also recommend giving Spotify a clean reinstall (including clearing the cache) as it's different than a basic one and for that, you can follow the steps here.

We'll be on the lookout 🙂

The issue became something else a bit different, but it's also resolved now.

Thanks for the update @tanhutthien2011!

Happy to hear that the issue with the playback is resolved 🙂
