Hey @SuicidalSpree,
Thanks for getting back to us.
There should only be one hosts file on your device and it's located under C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. Once you've found it, check for any spotify or fastly containing lines, remove them, and save your changes.
We hope this helps.
Hi there @SuicidalSpree,
Thanks for the post.
Check the file with "File" extension. You should be able to open this with a text editor, like Notepad. After that check if you can sport a line that has the words "spotify" or "fastly" in it and delete the whole line of text.
It's also possible that there are no such entries in the document.
Let us know how you get on.
Try performing a clean reinstall of your Spotify app by performing these steps.
Also, please clear your hosts file following these steps.

i tryedto follow this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQmpmoQE6SU but i found 2 varations of the "Hoast" file tryed replacing the text on both. but not shure what the whole deal is with this part
Check for any entries with spotify or fastly in the address. Examples may look like:
0.0.0.0 weblb-wg.gslb.spotify.com 0.0.0.0 prod.b.ssl.us-eu.fastlylb.net
(and any variations inbetween)
5. If you do find any, you can delete the line. You can also add a # in front of the line, that's 'commenting out'.
6. Save your changes. Refresh the Web Player. Id be easyer if i had a visual refrence of what i need to do
