Any attempt results in "Spotify can't play this now" alert

My Question or Issue

Windows is updated, app reinstalled, PC is rebooted. Works fine on android device.

EDIT: The cache is also cleared, and Spotify is in the firewall exception list.

Welcome to the Community and good job for already trying some troubleshooting steps!

If you're currently using the Spotify app version from our website, could you delete it and download it from the Microsoft Store and see if the issue persists? The same thing goes if you're running the one from MS Store. 

Does the same thing happen if you try with a different Internet connection on your computer or after restarting your router?

If you're still seeing the error message, it'd be great if you could send over a screenshot so we can take a look. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

Thanks for your suggestions, I didn't have to try these as the issue disappeared by itself 🙂
