I have a message "Application is not installed" while entering search result (artist hit)
A more detailed description, using numbered steps
1. Type an artist name
2. From search results, pick artist name
3. Error occured...
What I expected to happen
The list of tracks and albums related to artist.

I had this same problem on Linux native client.
For anybody else with the same issue, I did the following:
~$ rm -rf ~/.config/spofity/
~$ rm -rf ~/.cache/spotify/
Worked for me. Good luck.
