Auto starting even when disabled

Solved!

Auto starting even when disabled

Please help.
Spotify is opening on startup. I have never had it set to auto start.
I am using Windows 10.
I have already gone to Edit > Preferences > [Show Advanced Settings] > Startup and Window Behavior > Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer > No.
I have checked this, turned the computer off and back on, and checked again. Spotify is still opening on startup.
Thank you in advance.

In Advanced Settings, under Startup and Windows Behavior, turn off or diable "Allow Spotify to be opened from the web".  Reboot to check.

It's fixed. I tried your solution, and restarted the computer. However; when I restarted the computer, windows updated... so that may have just rebooted Spotify and temporarily fixed the problem. Lol. So I'll accept your advice as the solution and update later if the problem reoccurs. 🙂 Thank you.

Your solution fix the problem, thank you.

But i hope this bug will be fixed in the futur, it's not logical.

thank you  🙂 fixed the problem have a wonderful day!!!

There is no Advanced Settings in the free version of Spotify.

I also can't disable from the Windows 10 Task Manager > Startup pane.

Hey,

Advanced Settings is also in Spotify Free! Click on 'Show Advanced Settings' at the bottom of preferences- you'll see 'Startup and Window Behavior' here. You can turn off/on Auto Startup. Also, can you give us more information about 'Not allowed to disable Spotify on Task Manager > Spotify?' Let's troubleshoot it out!

Thank you 🙂
