Hello community!
I was having trouble opening my messages, and I saw in a post about that to reinstall Spotify. Now that I've reinstalled it, though, I can't click on anything.
The clicks aren't registering when I click "log in with facebook." I can type in the fields, but that doesn't help. Plus, the other login button doesn't click either. Now I can't access my music via the application at all.
Can someone help?
Here is a link to what is happening.

(I'll use web-based spotify in the meantime, but I'd like to get this figured out.)
Thanks!

I had the same problem on Win 7. Solution was to just hit enter after entering your username and password. The login button doesn't do anything.
I have the same issue, brand new machine, brand new install. Pretty dumb really.
It seems to be a scalling issue. The application seems to hate it. Scalling my desktop to 100% fixed it, although it really annoys me that I have to do that.... This needs to be fixed now.

Hi there!
I just wanted to chime in that I am having the same issue. It would be great to get a solution to this!
I can still log in with only keyboard commands (tab and enter) but I cannot click any of the other options which you described and pointed out in your diagram.
Hi again,
After uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify with this link: http://www.spotify.com/download/Spotify%20Installer.exe
(rather than with the "Download" link from the Spotify website) my clicking issue was resolved! I hope it works for you too.
This installs a really old version.
Another work around is - when you see the curser flashing in the username, hit SHIFT+TAB and then ENTER and it will log you into your account via facebook
This Worked they need to patch this.
I have the same issue since 3 days on Windows!
Hope it will be fixed soon cause i have a lot of notification i can't access...
if you click on the search box, then TAB, TAB, ENTER it will open your notification pull down box which you can then access with a mouse.
I can't believe how long spotify are taking to patch this - quite shocked.
Well, it's 2017 and I'm having the same issue. I'm using a fresh install of Win10, so there is no registry entries left behind or anything else that could cause such a bug. It's spotify's fault.
I have just downloaded the app for the first time on windows and have the same issue.
Put in username and password, the login button is simply not active. Clicking on it re-sizes the app window.

WOW!!! thanks, hitting enter worked!
Spotify know about this issue, just another thing in the long line that they screwed up with this update
Been in touch with support and emails back and forth and as of yet,bot all has been done to fix it
Thanks so much, that worked!
It's April 2017 and this is still a bug....and yes, I know I'm replying to thread that's two years old....
version 1.0.53.758.gde3fc4b2 on Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bit. This issue still exists. Tab Tab Enter workaround did it, but come on people, fix the darn login button.
I've had the same problem on Windows 8.1 with the latest Spotify version just downloaded.
I had to hit Enter on the keyboard and it worked.
Really weird as it's been two years that this issue is ongoing!

It's now August 2017 and I just got a new iPad and downloaded the Spotify app and it won't let me click on the log in button... I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times. Any suggestions?
I am having the same issue with my iPhone - I can't even click the log-in button for the last two days
