I using the spotify web browser because i can't have the app on my work computer, and can't find my followers (or who i am following, who is following a certain playlist, etc.). anyone know how to fix this?
i'm having the same issues on my app on the phone as well and none of the other solutions are working. is this a premium feature only now?
Hey @2yxlv-_84hr8r
Welcome to the Community 🙂
Following friends and seeing your followers is currently unavailable for the free tier on mobile app. It's available for Premium users.
I recommend reading this article for more information about Spotify free on mobile clients.
About the web player: seeing your followers is currently unavailable for both free tier and Premium. Searching for users is also unavailable (unless you have the url to the profile which you have to enter to the browser's address bar). However, you can get to the user's profile if you follow or know any of their playlists, because the user will be shown under playlist's name.
I recommend going to the Ideas board to find ideas that match your opinions, or posting a new idea. 🙂
I hope this helps, have a lovely day!
Hi Sebasty, you've provided a great explanation, but I'm intrigued about the reason. Th eimpression I have is that currently, despite being a premium user, I can't identify who my follwores are on the Android app, nor which and how many followers I have on the web browser? Is that correct?
With regards to your comment, "seeing your followers is currently unavailable for both free tier and Premium", I just don't understand why that shouldn't be psossible. I'm sure it used to be, but either way, as a paying customer in the 21st Century, I'd expect to be able to get that info.
Am I missing something, or have I got this right?
Please excuse terible typos and obvious total lack of proofing.
You should be able to see your followers on Android app when you're on Premium.
I suggest checking this article on followers 🙂
If your Android app still fails showing them, try reinstalling the app - check this guide on how to!
About the followers on web player, I suggest creating a new idea on it. I'm pretty sure it will get support, many use the web player. 🙂
Let me know how it goes!
Oops, apologies, just realised I'm talking about something else. I want to aee followers of EACH of my playlists.
It's currently not possible to see playlist followers on any platform. Sorry about that!
Here's an Idea for that feature.
Hopefully they'll look into re-adding it soon. 🙂
Hope this helps!
i can see my followers on my phone but not on my chromebook idk how to find them.
