My Question or Issue

I was just cleaning up my PC (from software) and reinstalling Spotify, after installing it again, I clicked on  "Login" It redirected me to web browser login page but on the application it said that

"Service is temporarily unavailable, please try again later. desktop.login.errorCode"

and then after logging in through the browser it said on the browser

"

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1:4381.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web."

I tried install the windows store version, old versions everyrthing but it still did not work. I also tried checking proxies, but I was not a proxy rather I was on my homes Wifi. Please help I want to get back to my tracks. BTW the web version (open.spotify.com) still works.

Hey @Aerodot,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Could you try to restart the affected device to see if that makes any difference for you?

It's also a good idea to check with a different network connection to see if you'll be able to log in and if the app works like that. In case you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it. This will help us check whether the issue is network related.

Lastly, we'd suggest that you disable any antivirus or ad-blocking software that might be affecting the app, and turn off VPN if in use.

Let us know how it goes. We'll be keeping an eye out for you reply.
