Daily Podcast Empty

Daily Podcast Empty

Every time I play an episode in my "Daily Podcast" playlist, the list purges and starts with "Try a New Show" and play a recording that states I do not have enough listening to recommend a podcast.

I've tried restarting my computer and uninstalling and re-installing the desktop app but am still having this issue.

This has been going on for several months.

Hey there @RubbleToes

Thanks for getting on touch about this and welcome to the Community.

Could you let us know if this only happens on the desktop app or on other devices as well?

On another note, we'd recommend logging out and then logging back in twice in a row. This will trigger a sync between your account and device.

Lastly, sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout.

I only have this issue on the desktop app.

Logging out and logging back in twice did not fix the issue.

Hey @RubbleToes,

If you've installed the app from our website, could you try installing the version from the Microsoft app store (and vice versa)?
Please follow these steps to do so and let us know how it goes 🙂

Many thanks!

Switching to the windows store version of the application made no difference.

The issue repeated itself within seconds.

Hey @RubbleToes,

Thanks for getting back to us.

We've forwarded this to the relevant team here at Spotify, however, we can't confirm when it will be addressed. In the meantime, please make sure to keep your app up-to-date.

Cheers,

I have the same issue with my Daily Podcasts playlist.

It keeps "refreshing" from time to time. In my case, it seems to also happen on my Android device.
