Delay in Spotify Playlist Updates Affecting Embedded Music on Minecraft-Themed Website

Dear Spotify Support Team,

I am currently managing a Minecraft themed website for a client, where we feature curated Spotify playlists to enhance the user experience while browsing game content. The playlists are updated daily to match specific Minecraft themes, such as “Chill Survival Mode” or “Epic Build Sessions.”

However, we’ve noticed a recurring issue when the playlist is updated on Spotify, the embedded player on the website often takes several hours sometimes up to 12  to reflect the changes. This delay disrupts the intended experience for users expecting fresh music every day, as the embedded widget does not sync in real-time with the playlist on the Spotify app or web player.

To troubleshoot, we have:

• Confirmed that the playlist is public and the embed code is correct

• Cleared browser cache and tested across multiple devices and browsers

• Even tried replacing the embed code entirely the issue persists

Could you please clarify if Spotify embeds are subject to caching delays or if there's a recommended solution to ensure the playlist updates reflect more quickly on external sites like ours?
