My Question or Issue
A whole week now, everyone in my friend group has the same issue. Support was 0 of help as they repeatedly said to try things we already done and already said they are temporary solutions, still no fix. Started after the latest update.
Good evening @geoxz,
What are the options you've already tried? Maybe there are still some other things to try.
Re-installing(multiple times), Troubleshooting(even changed the versions of windows to try it out), clearing cache, hardware acceleration was on already, runned as admin, all temporary solutions.
As I thought^^
Hey there @geoxz,
Thanks for your reply and kudos for the troubleshooting steps you've tried!
You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?
If that doesn't do the trick, could you check if the OS of your PC is up to date? We'd also like to know if the web player works as expected.
Additionally, sending us a short video of the issue happening would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).
Lastly, let us know the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device. We'll take a closer look.
We'll be waiting for your reply.

Spotify for Windows (64 bit)

My OS right now is 19045.2364 but my windows are optimised therefore it won't change, still as I said it happens on multiple PCs not just in mine. Opening alone web player is doing the same aswell, if I open both tho and then close the app web spotidy works normally.
Hey there @geoxz,
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, we couldn't watch the video you kindly sent us. Would you mind checking its permission? Make sure to set it as public so we can visualize it.
On another note, we'd suggest you delete the host files on your computer. You can doing it by following these steps.
If these should persist afterwards, can you please try running the app in Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking to rule out any issues with your default Windows settings and basic device drivers? Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Since you mentioned there are some friends of yours that are experiencing the same, we'd suggest you invite them to post here the make/model and OS of their affected devices, the exact Spotify version they are running and the exact behavior they're seeing.
Keep us in the loop!
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
