Desktop won't let me play any music at all

I've been using Spotify on my old laptop for months. I just got a new one, and it worked for the first day of using it. And now it wont let me play any music whatsoever, and I don't know what to do. Any time I click on a song to play, a notification pops up at the top of the screen saying "This song is not available. If you have a file on your computer, you can import it." And whenever I try to shuffle music, it won't play anything. It just goes through song after song with nothing playing and only plays each song for about 2 seconds. I don't know what's wrong; my account works fine on my phone and iPad.

Please try changing your default playback device to your laptop speakers and restart Spotify.
