Disable Video on desktop app

Disable Video on desktop app

I'm using the desktop app on a Windows 11 PC.

Every time a video starts playing my monitor that is plugged in via USB-c hub goes black and locks up my computer until I unplug it then plug it back in.

It happens every time.

I can't seem to find a way to disable videos on the desktop app, where the mobile app allows that.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hey @Rhinzo,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

There is an option to disable the video of a podcast on the desktop app, but the video needs to start first. the you can click on Show/Hide video or the X in the video itself.

This is not a solution for your issue though. For that I'd look at the video output settings and maybe try changing something on the external monitor's refresh rate.

Let us know how that went.

Cheers!
