I'm a Premium member and have been getting ads all morning. What's going on? New policies?

Hi, and welcome to the community!
Have you tried logging out and in? Or a clean reinstallation. In response to your question: No premium users should not be getting any ads.
Does Spotify work on your mobile device?
If you go to 'account...' under your name in spotify it should take you to a page which will show if you are premium.

I just restarted my spotify application and haven't had an ad since. Also, my mobile is confirmed working. Hopefully the restart fixed it!
Thanks, Anthony!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Does your account say Spotify Premium on your online overview?

Nope.
Just checked the account page.
it says i am using spotify free.
And my account name here is payk.
But in my email i see the paypal bill for account name paykz0r.
i didnt made 2 accounts. i am curious if it has to do with the facebook login or anything...
or if it took the name from email adress... strange
If its saying free you have not subscribed on that account, so its most likely you have another one in the system somewhere. You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to track down and get it changed over to the right account for you.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

i just logged my self in as paykz0r without email adress (just the nickname so it doesnt take the facebook account)
that worked
I'm also premium and get ads on the Discover page. What is this about?
When I pay ~€10 p/m I want a completely unbranded experience. Why am I seeing this ad?
@fuzzyvagina - Those are classed as "Music Announcements" not advertisements. You can however hide them by going to Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Music Announcements > Tick Hide on Discover Page and restart your client.

I've tried logging in and out, but I am still getting ads. I'm on the Premium family sharing account.
