Issues with playlists not deleting

I've been having a problem with getting a playlist to delete for months. I've tried clearing my cache and signing out then back in. I've tried deleting it multiple times, for months now. Both right click-delete and selecting delete from the three dot menu on the playlist do nothing. It's still showing up in my sidebar with the rest of my playlists. I didn't see any posts about this that are younger than a decade old and they were unhelpful, so hopefully I can get some help here?

 

Plan: Premium  Device: browser (firefox on Windows)

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community and good job for already performing some troubleshooting steps 🙂

 

If you haven't tried already, could you test with deleting the playlist on another device? Since you've added the info that you're using Firefox as a browser, can you maybe give this a try in the app? You can either download it from the MS Store or our website.

Yeah, I tried this on my phone app before. But I just tried it again right now and now for some reason it worked? Anyway thanks lol, it was driving me nuts

i have the same issue on my phone and pc 

i have deleted on both and re-signed in

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Are you seeing the playlist under Your Library or on the Home page? If on Home, note that this is expected and it will eventually be replaced by other items as you keep using your account (provided you haven't enabled Private Listening).

 

Another thing worth mentioning is that a playlist created by you is still accessible for other users that you've shared it with for a certain period of time after it's been deleted. If you don't want that, simply recover it, set it to private and delete it again.
