Local Files Not Indexing in Spotify Windows Desktop App

Hi, On 2 separate machines, my local files are not indexing.  In some cases it sees SOME of the files but refuses to index them all.  On another machine, it seems to not index ANY local files at all even though I put in multiple directories.   Any tips on how I can get the Spotify client on Windows to recognize and refresh against my local mp3 files stored on my machine?
