My son used my account to find some music and added this to a playlist. Now that he has his own account he would like to move that playlist to his own account. Is there any way to do that?
Hi there and welcome to the community,
You should get in touch with the spotify support team by using the online contact form or by tweeting @SpotifyCares on twitter.
If you get an auto reply back directing you to the help pages, just reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the employees will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello there,
Easiest way to do
On your account click right on the title of the playlist and select 'Share' when you get the pop-up box click 'send to' and enter the user name of your son. He will receive the playlist in his message folder.
When he gets the playlist, he creates a new playlist with the title he wants and copy all the tracks from your playlist to the new one (Click the 1st track, hold caps key and arrow down till the end) when all is selected, drag it in the new playlist).
Its done. Your son has the playlist in his own account.
Hello!
Maybe he could try typing in the name of his playist into the search bar and then following it from there. He can't add songs to it, though.
You could also try having him type in your username and then finding the playlist from there.
The only way to be able to add new tracks is first to copy the tracks in a new playlist. 🙂
It might be necessary to make the playlist "public" before the son can actually see and copy it to a new playlist. He could also only follow that list instead of copying it, but then he won't be able to edit it unless father declares it "collaborative". 😉
You can share a playlist by message even if it's not a public playlist 🙂
soundofus thank you!
Just did this little trick and it took less than 5 mins! perfect.
You are welcome 🙂
i dont know what planet youre on but when i push share and then send to it will only accept artist names not user names...... boy i dont know what youre looking at but unreliable at best!!!
appologize, sort of, after many more steps that were left out ex.you must be following the user for it to work i did get it to work for the most part.... ill do better next time... thanks
