My Spotify is repeating music when I press A

My Spotify is repeating music or running back when I press A, and this is really annoying when I'm playing any game, any way to resolve it?

This is quite odd and specific. So that we can look into this further, please provide us the following:

• Since you've posted this in the Windows board, this is something happening on PC, right? 
• Since you mentioned this happening while gaming, can you clarify if this happens when pressing the A on the keyboard or the A button on a controller? If it's the latter, what kind of controller is it and how is it connected?
• When did this start happening? Did it work properly before?
• Does it happen in specific areas of the app, everywhere or is it purely sporadic?

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Goodnight! this has been happening since I changed computers, yes this is on the keyboard
in fact it has always been like this, but it started to bother me more as I started playing more games that use WASD.
It happens everywhere actually, I think Spotify recognizes ''A'' as the shortcut key to rewind music and I wanted to be able to remove that.

There are currently Spotify keyboard shortcuts which you can check out here, however, pressing "A" on your keyboard shouldn't rewind music.

We've actually seen some other reports of this behavior in the forum before and it's possible that an external software is turned on on your PC or this is caused by another app or a plug in. These can have an impact on changing/hijacking the shortcuts.

With this said, could you do some checking and let us know? Another thing to check is if you've set some key mappings as well.

Lastly, if you're using an anti-virus software, try disabling that for some time as well and test if songs keep repeating when you press "A".
