My Question or Issue

My desktop app stopped working. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall. When I click on the SpotifySetup.exe installation file, I get the message that Spotify is already installed but when I ask to open it nothing happens.
I checked in my settings (Add & Remove programmes) and Spotify does not exist there. What else can I do?

Hi @25973246,

Thanks for reaching out. Usually this is caused by the Windows Store version being already installed. See if it shows up in the Start menu search and open the Microsoft Store to see if it's installed.

Hope this helps.
