Spotify Connect Problems / Questions

Spotify Connect Problems / Questions

Hi ya'll! I'm running into a problem and I'd love suggestions.

My *previous* setup used raspberry pi with raspotify as a media player connected to my DAC (Topping E30) which then outputs to my amp and speakers (all analog past the DAC). I added a separate family account for this device so it can remain logged in - for the purposes of this discussion we can call the account  "Home Speakers." This worked well, with the target device showing up as a playable Spotify Connect device option to anyone on my family plan.

For various reasons, I needed to swap from raspberry pi hosting to Windows 11 PC hosting. So, I've got a dedicated Windows 11 PC outputting into my DAC and then into my amp/speakers. I used the "Home Speakers" account to log into the Windows 11 Desktop Spotify app, but now no other family members can see this device as a playable option through spotify connect. Why is this? Is there a way to run a Spotify connect client on a windows PC that will be accessible for all members of my family plan?

Thanks in advance for the help!
