My Question or Issue
When trying to play tracks manually offline (after all playlists downloaded properly) not all tracks play. This seems random. some playlists only play the first 8 or so songs. Others will play random songs in list. Also if moving to another downloaded playlist the some tracks fail to play. This seems to be happening on 2 of my laptops all Window 10.
Hey there @Swasy,
Thanks for reaching out!
Just to confirm, is the same thing happening when the app is not set to offline? Have you already tried performing a clean reinstall? This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.
If that doesn't do the trick, could you send over the exact Spotify version you're currently running, along with a video where we can take a better look at the issue? You can attach it to your next response or upload it to another platform like YouTube or Google Drive and send a link to it. Make sure to hide any personal or sensitive information, and to give it the relevant permissions if you decide to upload it somewhere else.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
Hi, Yes have uninstalled and reinstalled on one laptop. No change still same problem. I now notice that this also happens to me when online also, but not as much, Also I have no issues like this on my android devices.
Hard for me to do a video. However I have noticed that if playing through a playlist as some point playback would stop also even though the playlist is downloaded. This is very frustrating. one laptop ASUS (high end) and one HP mid range quality.
Thanks

Hey @Swasy,
Thanks for getting back to us.
If you've downloaded the app from the Microsoft Store, could you give it a try downloading it directly from the website or viceversa? Just to make sure that the issue is not related to the specific installation.
We also understand you haven't been able to make a video. However, keep in mind that this is an important piece of information that we might need to continue looking into this behavior, since we haven't been able to replicate these playback issues from our end. It'd be extremely helpful if you could send one.
Keep us posted!
Hi Novy,
Please see the Dropbox link.
Hey @Swasy,
Thanks for the recording!
Can you ask a friend or relative to log in their own Spotify account on one of your laptops and test this out as well to see if they experience the same issue? This way we can determine if it's account- or device-related.
Since you also mentioned this happening both when you're online and with your downloads, it's worth trying a different internet connection (if available, for example a mobile hotspot). Just make sure to remove your current offline content and download the playlists again using the new internet connection. To remove them, go to Settings, scroll down to Storage and click on Remove all downloads.
Let us know how it goes.
Hi. I connected to my mobile data on my phone and issue is still present. I removed downloads then downloaded again. This is now unusable for me. Will look for other option for music service.
