Organise in folders

Organise in folders

I want to organise my favourite albums and playlist in folders an subfolders. How do I move an album or playlist from one folder to another?

Click on the drop down menu for the playlist folder, drag the playlist from there into the new one.

I use Spotify in Dutch. So maybe a not so good translation into Engelsh of the menu I see.

The items I can choose are: Go to play radio, Shared playlist, Make public, Delete, Comparable playlists, Dowload, Share.

I do not see a possibility to add this album to a folder.

Albums cannot be added directly to folders and hence you must add them to a playlist, to then sort them into playlist folders.

It still puzzels me. I made a playlist with all the tracks of an album (album 1). I added this to an new folder (artist a), to which I want to add more albums of this artist. So far so good.

Then I created a new folder for this genre (Genre A). And I want to add the folder of artist a to the folder Genre A. That I cannot do. What is the trick for that?

My aim is to create a folder structure resembling my CD drawers which are organised this way.

Hi,
The playlist folders should interact so you can put one inside the other, as shown here:

Is it that this method isn't working for you?

That's right, this is not working.

I can move the album (playlist) to the composer (folder). But I cannot move the composer (folder) to the genre (folder). If I move it, it can only be placed between to folders. Not inside one.

That doesn't sound cool at all. Have you attempted to reinstall Spotify yet?

- Chris

I just tried it. The situation is the same.
