Bug started happening this morning. Even after I restart the application, it reverts to this highly pixelated view. How can I report this bug? Please advise.

Hey @sotti
Uh... sick graphics!
I suggest a reinstall as this may iron out many in-program faults. Click here on how to!
Additionally it might be helpful to update graphics card drivers as well as disabling hardware acceleration from View.
Another thing to try is checking the windows scaling settings. Do this:
Click on Start and type 'screen resolution' into search, click on 'make text and other items larger or smaller' and make sure it's set ot 100%.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi Sebasty,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, same issue.
Graphics card driver up to date, same issue. No option to disable hardware acceleration.
Window scaling at 100% at all times, same issue.
Was there any recent update to the Spotify client? It used to work without a problem before.
Thanks,
sotti
I am experiencing the same problem but on Windows 10. Re-install did not work. I confirmed all screen resolution settings are appropriate.
Tried both Windows 7 Basic and Classical theme, same issue. Seems to be an issue with the Spotify app. It starts just fine, after a few minutes the pixelated output appears.
Same here. I have lenovo ntb, WIN7 pro, 8GB RAM, i5 2520 - enough resources to run this app.
App is ok when it starts, but afeter minimizing a maximizig, exactely same pixelated UI show up.
Hey @sotti and others ๐
There should be a possibility to disable hardware acceleration in the Spotify client, it should be under View.
There's also an absolutely clean version of a reinstall available:
1. Uninstall Spotify using the Control Panel.
2. Go to %appdata% and make sure there are no Spotify folders left anywhere (usually both Local and Roaming). If there is anything, just delete it.
3. Restart your machinery.
4. Install Spotify.
What version of Spotify are you exactly on?
I for one don't seem to have this issue, but I'm not using the client that often...
I did the full cleanup and it seems it worked. I had the client open for about 2h and the issue seems to have disappeared. I did not touch the hardware acceleration setting, on at all times. Spotify v 1.0.66.478.g1296534d.
A few more hours have passed and the window returned to the pixelated view. Not sure what the cause is. I disabled HW acceleration and hope it should fix it. Will update the ticket if the issue is solved.
Been seeing this as well. Happens everytime I minimize, then maximize Spotify. So far disabling hardware acceleration is working to fix it. Also on Windows 7.
Disabling hardware acceleration seems to fix the issue.
