Spotify Doesn't Play Music [Desktop, Windows]

The first issue I had is when I was listening to music using the Desktop App, I would click next song and it would scroll through every song in my playlist, playing each one for maybe a quarter of a second, until it stopped. Once it stops, I can't change the song, all I can do is pause or play.

I reinstalled Spotify in hopes to fix the issue, and now when I click a song it simply does not play at all. Attatched is what I see. The little speaker icon appears next to the song and the song text appears green, as if it is playing, but I hear nothing and nothing appears at the bottom of the screen.

It seems ridiculous that I pay for premium and literally cannot listen to music.
