Spotify Radio Station Population

Spotify Radio Station Population

I decided to give Spotify radio a try and transitioning off of Pandora. I can see that I can start a radio station based on a playlist of songs. My question is, if you add songs to that playlist does the new songs help add to the radio selection, or are my songs only based on the original playlist at the time the station was created?

There has always been some debate about this, the last time I asked the radio team they said "yes, it includes new tracks when you start the station again" however, there is little evidence to prove or disprove it here on the community.

Would be interesting to do some serious testing of that sometime. For me, it's hard to tell how much effect new artists are having because I tend to add related music or songs that I gave a thumbs up to on the station itself. My stations always seem to turn out well with that method, but I'd be curious to see what happens if adding something in a totally different genre.
