Spotify Stops Playing Music

My Question or Issue

If I am playing music from a playlist, then hop into a Daily Mix playlist and click a track to play, it stops the music I was listening to and doesn't attempt to play the track I'd just clicked.

Clicking tracks not in the Daily Mix will play as expected. Doesn't matter the device I am on, the same effect happens.

 

This seems like kinda basic functionality to have not working ?

Hey @rileyinthevoid, Welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

 

This could be a cache issue. Try clearing the Spotify app cache from settings and see if that helps. You can check this article for more info about storage.

 

Make sure you're not using any VPN, as that may be causing the problem. If that doesn't help, I'd recomment a clean install of the Spotify app, more about that here.
