Spotify app on windows (10) malfnctions

Spotify app on windows (10) malfnctions

Ongoing issues happen only on windows app. Reinstalled a few times, but got tired of it.
Problems:1) Search doesn't work- sidebars appear and work fine, but where would be results is nothing, sometimes written that "no results were found", also unable to view an artists profile

2) Friends activity- nothing happens after I press the three headed icon
3) (!!!) After connecting my 2nd device (pc to phone or vice versa) current song plays for a split second before stoping. Need to shut spotify off on one of the devices to keep listening.

Those problems aren't continuous, it happens in moods 🙂

I supposed you were doing some stuff and had a few errors to figure out, but it's been long enough so I thought to finally post it. It's happening to friends (with windows 10) and some people also wrote about it, but I didn't find a post which had all of those problems in 1 post.

I unfortunately don't have any screens, but when it happens I shall add them.

Hey @ztelesnenyvanoce,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article?

If so and the issue persists, would you mind trying with a different internet connection? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

We'll be on the lookout.
