Hey @BlooXP,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
Could you try clearing any entries containing Spotify from your computer's Hosts file. You can follow this post to do it.
These can sometimes cause synchronization issues with the Spotify Desktop app.
If that doesn't help, let us know if you're using a VPN or a school/ work network or PC.
Keep us posted.
Thank you for your reply!
I did delete the files from %appdata% and%localappdata%, also used CCleaner for the cache.
In terms of network I am using my home network I used before and had no problems with it. This issue suddenly occurred.
Hey @BlooXP,
Thanks for the reply.
This issue sometimes occurs if you're using a VPN or a school network on which some networking ports get blocked.
Could you try connecting your PC to a mobile hotspot WiFi network from your phone. This way you can check if the issue is network related at all.
Keep us posted 🙂
Hello @Alex,
Thanks again for the reply!
I have checked with hotspot and I have also checked my router's settings but I do not have any sort of VPN. And the hotspot one doesn't work either.
I have also checked from my laptop when I am on the Wi-Fi and there are no problems it works. It's only on my PC.
Hi @BlooXP!
Could you try out the following:
Let us know how it goes.
Hello!
I have tried, the process with Offline Mode you have mentioned and unfortunately it did not help.
Hey @BlooXP,
Thanks for your last reply.
Just to confirm, did the issue start after a recent OS, app update?
On another note, we recommend that you send us the make/model, OS version, and Spotify version installed on your phone and PC.
We'll be waiting here for your next answer.
Hello!
Thank you for your reply!
I do not know for how long it's happening because it's been about a bit over than a month since I have noticed it, so I don't really recall any updates besides the iPhone one that I did a few days ago.
Phone:
Apple iPhone 7+; iOS: 15.4.1; app version: 8.7.24.1451
PC: Windows 10 21H2 x64; app version: Spotify for Windows 1.1.81.604.gccacfc8c
Hi again @BlooXP,
We suggest that you log in with a different account and let us know if the issue persists. If so, we recommend that you log out everywhere. You'll find this option by scrolling down here. Afterwards, reinstall the app on your devices once more (you'll need to download your tunes again).
Once this process is completed, restart your devices before launching Spotify again.
Let us know if this helps.
Here's the deal..The Web Player version does not have the 3 dots you refer to (which also prevents me from doing certain editing functions) The web player seems to be a scaled down, lesser-functioning version of spotify. I need full access...which I believe I'm paying for. What I don't need is a ton of obfuscation, incorrect fixes and an unsteady platform. If I can't get what I need, I'll cancel my subscription.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
